Summary:
We are a NDIS provider seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will utilise their strong OT skill set to support our diverse range of clients. Working in a community setting the Occupational Therapist will be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans that are tailored to individual needs and use their strong report writing skills to keep NDIS compliant records of progress..
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine clients’ needs and develop treatment plans
- Work with clients to develop goals and objectives for therapy
- Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to help clients achieve their goals
- Monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate clients and their families on how to use adaptive equipment and techniques to improve daily living skills
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients’ progress and treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
- Experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
