- Catering Assistant local hire would suit candidates near Mascot / Malabar / Maroubra area
- Shifts may fall from Monday to Sunday 06:30 - 19:30 and include some short shifts

THE POSITION
- We are currently seeking a Catering Assistant to work within our Long Bay Hospital team based in Malabar
- This role will form part of face paced kitchen team that delivers high volume, bulk catering to the patients
- Stock rotation and stock control
- Ensuring to follow all health and safety procedures when caring out all tasks
- Operating a commercial dishwasher to a high standard
- Assist with general kitchen duties under the direction of the Site Manager
- Maintain cleanliness and provide a warm, friendly, and welcoming style of service to customers
THE PERSON
- Experience essential. Basic food preparation skills with knowledge of food allergens.
- Great communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
- NPC - hold a National Police Check (or be willing to obtain one)
- WWCC - hold a Working With Children Check (or be willing to obtain this)
