Savanna has an opportunity for experienced, safety focused Workshop Mechanic to join our growing Maintenance team. Based in our Toowoomba Workshop.

To apply, you should have:
- Trade Certificate (Qualified Fitter/Mechanic)
- CMMS Training (Computerised Maintenance Management Software)
- Current C (car) Class Driver’s License
- HR Driver’s License desirable, but not essential
- Well-developed communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions, to work within guidelines and procedures, identify problems and seek advice to resolve issues relating to tasks
- A strong work ethic
What you'll be doing:
- Read hydraulic, schematic and mechanical diagrams, drawings or specifications to determine job requirements
- Inspect, service and repair rig equipment as needed to ensure reliable performance
- Provide effective support to rigs, camps and the maintenance departments daily
- Use and operate all equipment in accordance with company and client policy and procedures
- Manage 3rd party work, quality and invoicing, ensuring that third party work orders are completed in a timely manner
- Conduct all work in accordance with current legislative and industry specific requirements
- Keep abreast of changes in industry standards and regulations
- Work within the scope of your trade qualification
