About the role
As the Nursing Director of Digital Transformation and Delivery, you will oversee a portfolio of complex Digital Health and ICT projects throughout their entire lifecycle. This role is crucial for driving innovation and transformation within the organisation by leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to enhance our digital capabilities. Your key responsibilities will include the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of each project within the portfolio, ensuring they meet agreed-upon performance criteria. You will lead the implementation of innovative solutions that align with our strategic objectives and deliver measurable business value.
Operating in a complex environment, you will develop a Digital Services Project Management Office (PMO) and establish collaborative relationships with senior and operational stakeholders, both clinical and non-clinical. These relationships are essential for creating a cohesive and integrated portfolio of projects that align with organisational goals.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated experience in implementing an agile innovation delivery capability, embedding iterative processes across business units, and aligning strategic goals with measurable outcomes to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Proven experience and demonstrated performance in the management of a medium to large scale, complex Digital and ICT projects, preferably in the health care industry.
- Expertise in, and application of, appropriate project and program management methodologies including PRINCE2 and Managing Successful Programs (MSP) and Project Assurance Frameworks.
- Proven experience of establishing and managing a Program Management Office (PMO), using frameworks/methods such as PRINCE2 (project delivery), MsP (program delivery) or Portfolio, Programme and Project Office (P3O).
- Experience in stakeholder relationship management to support effective business change, including the ability to initiate relationships and influence key stakeholders including clinical staff.
- Proven high level negotiation, consultation, facilitation, and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex project environment.
- Proven experience in leading & managing high performing, multi-disciplinary teams and creating an environment that fosters collaboration, quality communications and nurtures and upskills team members.
