My client is a friendly and long-established law firm in Sutherland Shire. They are seeking a Licensed Conveyancer/Conveyancing Solicitor to join the team. You will be working in the property law team with the guidance of two vastly experienced property law principals and two very experienced property law solicitors. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who can demonstrate a genuine interest in property law to work with the premier property law team in the Shire. They offer stable, long-term employment in a terrific suburban beach-side environment.
Working closely with their lawyers you will have the confidence and skills to project manage conveyancing work.
You will conduct property transaction, undertake relevant searches and draft correspondence to various parties on a daily basis with minimal supervision and attend to the registration of dealings in PEXA. The role offers you an opportunity to engage with clients directly, delegate to an administrative assistant and the ability to run your files from start to finish.

The successful candidate will:
- Be able and confident to build and sustain excellent client relationships which will include regular client meetings;
- Be able to consistently produce accurate high quality work in a timely manner;
- Be able to identify when a transaction requires input or supervision from a lawyer;
- Be able to remain calm under pressure during periods of high work volumes and strict time frames;
- Demonstrate proactivity, initiative and the ability to prioritise activities according to level of urgency and;
- Have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
