JBS Hospitality is currently recruiting a Head Chef for The Dick Whittington Tavern in St Kilda.
We’re seeking a passionate professional who is enthusiastic, energetic, organised, and self-motivated. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in producing high-quality pub food with flair, showcasing their creativity and expertise in a vibrant hospitality setting.
Reporting to the Executive Chef and leading a dynamic kitchen team, you will work a rotating roster over 7 days. This is an exciting opportunity to drive growth, take ownership of the kitchen, and progress your career within the JBS Hospitality family.

- Maintain high and consistent standards of products
- Time management and organisational skills
- Stock control and reporting / wage control & rostering
Primary responsibilities of this role will include
- Lead and support the team during peak service times.
- Train and mentor junior staff, fostering growth and development.
- Manage stock, ordering, and labour control effectively.
- Maintain grace and professionalism under pressure.
Experience in a similar role will be looked upon highly.
