Senior Business Analyst

Hungry Jack’s is on the lookout for a Senior Business Analyst on a 12 month fixed term contract to join our growing team in Woolloomooloo. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a range of exciting IT projects within the fast-paced and dynamic Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry. We’re looking for someone with experience in delivering complex IT projects, a passion for driving process improvements, and the ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate with internal and external teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full project lifecycle: planning, scoping, analysis, development, testing, and deployment.
• Deliver artefacts aligned with business requirements and design specifications.
• Work on data integration (API, SFTP), including data cleansing, integration mapping, and developing technical specifications.
• Ensure data integrity with integration reporting (Checksum, Hashing, Row Counts, Data Validation).
• Document clear, concise requirements and develop detailed test cases.
• Perform functional and integration testing, documenting testing artefacts.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to elicit business and technical requirements.
• Proactively contribute to a high-performing team with a focus on improving operational efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a business analyst or similar role, with a focus on delivering IT projects.
• Proven ability to manage the entire project lifecycle and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Experience with data integration, including API, SFTP, and Data Cleansing is highly desirable.
• Experience with QSR or retail industry projects is a plus but not essential
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and innovatively.
• Excellent stakeholder management experience with the ability to engage, collaborate, and negotiate effectively.
• High-level presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated project delivery experience at large-scale, enterprise-level projects.
• Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in an appropriate field of study.
• Hands-on experience in software implementation and managing onshore and offshore teams.
