About the Role

This role is pivotal in supporting the business by ensuring thorough financial analysis, structured client follow-ups, and proactive identification of opportunities. You will be responsible for assessing client financials, structuring loan solutions, and leveraging CRM data to improve client retention and business growth. Additionally, you will assist with business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Loan Structuring (50%)

  • Assess clients’ financial situations to determine suitable mortgage products.
  • Research lender policies and identify the best loan options.
  • Prepare loan recommendations and assist in application submissions.

Client Follow-Up & Business Development Support

  • Implement a structured approach to client follow-ups (loan anniversaries, fixed rate expiries, refinancing opportunities).
  • Proactively seek client referrals and opportunities within their network.
  • Support the owner in maintaining client relationships with a disciplined approach.

Operational Efficiency & CRM Utilisation

  • Leverage CRM reports to identify opportunities (e.g., expiring fixed rates, loan anniversaries).
  • Improve internal processes to drive efficiency and client engagement.
  • Drive data accuracy and efficiencies.

Technology & Social Media Support

  • Assist with content creation for social media (no SEO expertise required).
  • Ensure messaging aligns with business goals and client engagement strategies.
  • Utilise technology to improve business workflow and reporting.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should be:

  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong grasp of financial analysis.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in mortgage lending either in a brokerage or a bank.
  • Structured and disciplined, ensuring consistent follow-ups and business processes.
  • Proactive and initiative-driven, identifying opportunities and driving efficiencies.
  • Tech-savvy, comfortable working with CRM systems and supporting digital content.
  • A great communicator, able to engage clients professionally while assisting with business growth.
