Coastal Infrastructure Engineer (Technical) – Temporary ContractLocation: Strathpine, QLD
Contract: Immediate Start until 30 June 2025 (Potential Extension)
Rate: $50.09/hr + Super | ⏱ Hours: 36.25 per week
About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for a Coastal Infrastructure Engineer to contribute to coastal infrastructure, canals, and foreshore management projects. This role involves technical assessment, engineering design, field investigations, and stakeholder engagement to support key coastal initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical advice on coastal management, erosion control, and beach nourishment
- Conduct site inspections, field investigations, and data collection
- Assist in capital and operational works planning for coastal projects
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations
- Engage with stakeholders to provide expert guidance on coastal infrastructure issues
About You:
- Degree in Coastal Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent
- Current “C” Class Driver’s Licence
- Strong experience in coastal infrastructure design and management
- Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and make informed recommendations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
