ARC Disability Services Inc. is a community-based organisation with a long history in the Cairns and Far North, supporting children and adults who have a disability, their families and support networks.Role Summary:
- Full-time Contract until 31/12/2025
- 38hrs per Week
- S.C.H.C.D.S. Industry Award – Level 5, based on experience

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Working with Participants to achieve their goals in line with their NDIS plan
- Working with Participants to help build their own capacity and independence
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of local services and organisations
- Engaging and coordinating service providers on behalf of Participants and linking Participants to relevant providers,
- Working within funding levels associated with each client while continually tracking and monitoring billable hours.
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of the NDIS systems and practices
- Planning and managing your own workload to ensure the delivery of quality services, in conjunction with N.D.I.A. or Organisational reporting requirements
- Daily use of computer systems and software programs to ensure effective service delivery, communication and storage of confidential information
- Complying with all relevant legislation and codes of conduct

To be successful in this role you will have:
- An ability to engage with stakeholders and identify solutions
- High standards of ethical behaviour, N.D.I.S. knowledge and experience
- An ability to work independently, multi-task, time manage
- Interpersonal skills, experience with external service providers
- Experience in monitoring budgets, client services, funding packages
- Experience in providing support to Individuals via case management
- Good IT literacy including data management systems and software
- Working with Children (Blue Card) and Disability Services (Yellow Card) and a Right to Work within Australia
- Undertake pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Current Queensland Drivers Licence
- Current Car registration and comprehensive car inusrance.
