Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at the Head office in Brisbane CBD. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue, and building strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development and a deep understanding of the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase revenue
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business plans
  • Manage and track sales pipeline and report on progress to senior management
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and stay up-to-date on industry trends

Qualifications:

  • Previous Sales experience in a Business-Business Sales Process
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field or
  • Proven track record of success in business development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software

You Deliver these Outcomes:

  • Bring New Business Opportunities into Essential Tech from Small and Midsized businesses of 10-200 Staff
  • Building our CRM and Pipeline with accurate client contact information and notes.
  • Adding contracted Clients to our MONTHLY RECURRING REVENUE services such as IT Support, Business Internet Services, Business Voice or Cyber Security.
  • Set clear, realistic and achievable expectations for customers and Prospects of Essential Tech

The salary is as follows:

On Target Earnings of $107,000 – $142,000+

Base salary ($60,000 – $85,000+)* + Uncapped Commissions or general estimate is $37,000 – $48,000+

*can be negotiated based on experience
