Respiratory Consultants are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our practice in South Terrace, Adelaide
The ideal candidate will have a bright, professional manner in-person and on the phone, a commitment to confidentiality, and a strong sense of empathy and compassion for our patients. A back ground in medical reception is essential.
The role is intended for a part-time position, hours to be negotiated, as well as leave cover. No weekend work or shift work is required.
You will need to be proficient at:
Working with Genie medical software (essential)
Appointment bookings
Hospital Bookings and theatre lists
Data entry
General secretarial duties including scanning and e-faxing letters.
Excellent communication skills
Dealing with enquiries from patients and healthcare professionals
Liaising with other healthcare professionals and practices
Exceptional organisational skills with an eye for details
Must be able to cover leave and work confidently on your own
An understanding and experience in Medicare/DVA claiming, billing and receipting
Have a national police check and working with children clearance
