DescriptionWe are looking for a talented Store person to join our team in our Karratha branch. This role is a residential position.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in the warehouseData entry and processing orders in a timely mannerReceive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoicesReceive incoming goods, accurately sort, label/package, store goods and arrange storage to optimise warehouse spacePick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or ordersLiaise with internal and external stakeholdersComplete cycle-counts and routine stock takesUndertake housekeeping duties to ensure work area is maintained and cleaned dailyAdhere to safe work practices in the workplace
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
High Risk Forklift Licence - preferred but not essential.Driver’s Licence essential- Manual or willing to obtain.Intermediate computer skills (MS Office – intermediate Excel) and can learn new systems and processes quicklyPrevious warehousing/stores experience preferred but not essential – on the job training available to suitable applicantsPrevious experience in a customer facing role as part of a team would be beneficial Ability to work unsupervised and commit to undertaking all work safely and efficiently
