About the role We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Welders and Coded Welders, for exciting upcoming projects across various regions in Western Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to high-profile projects in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in pre-start and toolbox meetings, participate in Step-Back 5x5 four quarters program
  • Participate in the development of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)’s and site risk assessment discussions
  • Follow all client safety procedures and objectives
  • Draw, read and interpret drawings.
  • Recognition and safe use of welding equipment including, but not limited to, hand and power tools and gas cutting equipment (burning gear)
  • Measure with graduated devices.
  • Manual heating, thermal cutting & gouging.
  • To have a good understanding of metals and weld technology.
  • Weld using manual metal arc welding process, gas metal arc process, gas tungsten arc welding process.

Who do we want to hear from ?

  • Minimum 2 years’ proven experience within relevant discipline
  • Previous experience within the mining & resources industry or similar
  • Certificate of Competency in Welding
  • Hold a nationally accredited OHS Card (White/Blue Card)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rates of pay ranging between $43.00 - $66.84 (qualification/experience and project dependent).
  • Standard working week of 42.5 – 50 hours, working 8.5 - 10 hours per day with additional penalty rates offered for overtime, weekend and public holiday work (site and project dependent).
