The Opportunity
You will play a crucial part within our team supporting our haulage operations by maintaining mobile plant machinery, including service trucks, watercarts small cranes, forklifts and ancillary equipment at our Truck Maintenance Facility (TMF) at our Onslow Iron operations.
Full-time positions are based on a 2/1 roster with rotating day and night shifts, offering Fly In, Fly Out from Perth WA or Brisbane QLD.
What is required?
- Australian or New Zealand recognised trade qualification
- Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
- A strong commitment to safety and quality of work
- Demonstrated diagnostic, fault finding, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills
- The ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Unlimited Australian Work Rights
- Applicants holding an Air Conditioning Licence will be held in high regard
About Onslow Iron
Our Onslow Iron project is set to redefine mining in Western Australia through world-first autonomous road trains, industry leading dust free transport and innovative transhipping.
Taking shape 150 kilometres east of Onslow, the project will ship around 35 million tonnes of iron ore per year and is expected to have a mine life of more than 30 years.
The project will encompass the Ken’s Bore mine (approximately 150km from Onslow), Onslow Port infrastructure and Onslow Truck Maintenance Facility.
