Ionic Projects is a boutique builder with a core focus on multi-unit residential and commercial projects in the Perth Metropolitan area. We design, develop and construct both new build and refurbishment projects from $1m - $20m+.
We require an experienced Scheduler / Contracts Administrator to join our dynamic team.
Reporting to the Projects Manager, you will be an integral part of the team and your tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Undertake scheduling, estimating and contract administration
- Read and Interpret plans
- Prepare scope of works
- Prepare budgets and obtain quotes
- Contractor and Supplier negotiations
- Issue Purchase orders
- Cost control and reporting
- Documentation management
- Prepare and maintain Call forward schedules
- Invoicing and progress payments
- Liaise with Consultants and subcontractors
- Manage Variations and RFI's
- Assist site supervisor to plan works and achieve set project deadlines
To be successful in this role you will be required to have:
- Demonstrable experience in Contracts Admin and Scheduling
- Minimum 5 years experience in multi-unit residential construction within Western Australia
- Excellent negotiation, communication, contract management and contract administration skills
- Ability to implement and maintain systems and procedures
- An excellent understanding of construction drawings and technical specifications
- Thorough understanding of building codes and Australian standards
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually in a professional manner
- Solid understanding of the Construction process
Remuneration is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
