About the role
As the first point of contact for VACCA clients and visitors, the Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. This position is key to ensuring the smooth operation of the reception area and broader office by managing front desk responsibilities, providing administrative support, and assisting staff across various functions. With strong organisational and communication skills, the Receptionist helps maintain an efficient and friendly workplace that reflects VACCA's commitment to excellence.
About You
Serve as the welcoming and culturally sensitive first point of contact for all clients and visitors, ensuring a professional and friendly experience. Manage phone inquiries with courtesy, accurately record and direct messages, and maintain clear communication across the team. Oversee correspondence, including registering, distributing, and handling mail. Keep the reception area organised and presentable while supporting office operations through administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and record-keeping. This role is essential in maintaining a smooth, efficient, and professional office environment.
- Requirements: Current COVID-19 vaccination (including booster dose, as applicable), a Working with Children's Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence.
