The Role:Sharp and Carter is proud to be partnering with a leading national law firm. Due to continued business growth, this company is seeking an experienced Trust Accounts Officer to join their Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, your role will include but not be limited to:
- Manage trust account transactions in accordance with legal and company policies.
- Process payments, reconciliations, and disbursements efficiently and accurately
- Maintain detailed financial records to ensure full compliance with trust accounting regulations
- Assist with end-of-month reporting, audits, and compliance checks
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve account-related queries
- Experience in trust accounting is a must
- Strong knowledge of trust account regulations and compliance requirements
- High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in trust accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
