About the CompanyWe are working together with the Government Employees Superannuation Board (GESB) in search of a Responsible Investment Analyst to join their team. GESB is dedicated to managing retirement savings responsibly by integrating ESG principles into their investments.
GESB is a WA Government statutory authority that provides superannuation schemes for current and former public sector employees in Western Australia. With over 85 years’ experience, around 247,000 members and over $43 billion in funds under management (as at 28 February 2025), GESB is the largest WA-based super provider.
As a Responsible Investment Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in achieving sustainable investment returns while upholding GESB’s commitment to member outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support GESB's responsible investment initiatives, focusing on climate change and sustainability.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure ESG compliance and reporting standards are met.
- Uphold investment governance frameworks and regulatory guidelines.
- Foster a cohesive and transparent culture within the Investments team.
- Engage stakeholders effectively, ensuring clear communication of GESB’s responsible investment approach.
- Demonstrate leadership behaviours in line with public sector ethics and standards.
- Tertiary qualifications in finance, investments, or related fields.
- Experience in responsible investment, corporate governance, or ESG research.
- Strong understanding of investment functions, financial markets and ESG metrics.
- Proficiency in spreadsheeting and report-writing.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and high standards in work output.
- Leadership qualities with a commitment to service and integrity.
