Business Development Executive

Quest Frankston on the Bay is an 78 Room property located in the heart of Frankston CBD and 2-minute walk to the waterfront. The property opened in 2013 and has undergone a refurbishment making it the most contemporary accommodation choice in Frankston.
Quest Frankston on the Bay has recently moved under new ownership and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive to join under new leadership. This is a Part-time permanent position, depending on the candidate's qualifications and suitability, we may consider offering this as a full-time position.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Franchisee , this key role in the business involves identifying and attracting corporate clients, driving engagement with and loyalty to the Quest brand, developing and acting on sales and marketing plans, identifying and engaging with existing and potential local area accounts, and working with the front office and Corporate Office teams (sales, revenue and distribution and marketing and digital) to optimise sales outcomes.
The role also involves occasional after-hours activities, such as attending and hosting networking events and property familiarisations to showcase Quest Frankston on the Bay and the Quest brand.
The Ideal Candidate
Will be a self-motivated, sales focused individual, who has a passion for developing and nurturing win-win relationships with clients and colleagues.
Enthusiasm for selling is key, as is strong time management, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, and a friendly, mature approach to work.
A proven track record with achieving sales outcomes in a business to business environment is essential, and strong knowledge of industry in the Mornington Peninsula region would be a distinct advantage. A current driver’s license and own vehicle is required.
Whilst not essential, qualifications in a business discipline or the hospitality, travel or tourism industries would be highly regarded, as would prior sales experience in a hotel environment.
