The Role: Mental Health Clinician
We’re looking for allied health professionals passionate about helping children thrive by supporting them and their parents. You’ll work closely with families to assess young people’s needs, develop mental health plans, and empower parents with therapeutic parenting skills.
We're looking for Psychologists, Mental Health Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and would also happily consider Art Therapists, Child and Family Therapists, Play Therapists, Music Therapists, or related professionals.
We would love to find those clinicians who are willing to learn and keen to contribute. We appreciate those who adopt a relational, developmental, systemic, neuroaffirming and trauma-informed approach to care. We welcome clinicians with a wide variety of experiences in different therapeutic modalities or frameworks who are open minded and keen to build their skillset.
What You’ll Do:
- Assess young people and collaborate with families to co-develop integrated, holistic mental health formulations and support plans
- Deliver parent education programs , on an individual and gorup basis, to help carers better understand their child’s needs and develop therapeutic parenting skills
- Provide ongoing guidance and counselling to parents using our relational framework
- Provide discipline-specific assessments or treatments as needed
- Engage in specific individual, dyadic, parent or family-focused therapy as needed to compliment the broader relational work

What We’re Looking For:
- A passion for working with parents and families
- Experience in child, adolescent and youth mental health assessment and trauma-informed approaches (desired but not essential)
- A collaborative, team-focused mindset that aligns with our values
Essential Requirements:
- Registration with a relevant professional body or board (e.g., AHPRA, AASW )
- Working with Children Check and National Criminal Record Check
- Professional indemnity insurance
