About the role
Fitzroy Dental is seeking an experienced part-time receptionist/dental nurse to join our friendly team in our Fitzroy, VIC practice. This is a rewarding opportunity for a passionate individual to play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth running of our dental clinic.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting patients and managing the reception area with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Scheduling appointments, confirming bookings, and managing patient records
- Assisting dental professionals during procedures by passing instruments, mixing materials, and ensuring a clean and organised work environment
- Conducting sterilisation of instruments and maintaining stock levels of dental supplies
- Handling patient inquiries and addressing any concerns in a timely and courteous manner
- Promoting the practice and building strong relationships with our valued patients
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or dental nurse, preferably in a general dental practice setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Proficiency in administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, and inventory management
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
