About the Role
As the Committee Support Manager, you will provide high-level administrative, governance, and secretariate support to the Chief Executive Officer, senior managers, and various committees. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth coordination of meetings, record-keeping, and communications across multiple governance bodies, including standing committees, advisory committees, and working groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide secretariate and governance support to the National Council, Board Standing Committees, Advisory Committees, and Working Groups.
- Manage the coordination, scheduling, and documentation of online and in-person meetings.
- Prepare and oversee the delivery of high-level correspondence, including briefings, reports, and submissions.
- Develop and implement efficient administrative systems and processes to support committee operations.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping, including minutes, registers, and information systems, to maintain corporate knowledge.
- Initiate and respond to stakeholder communications to support governance and strategic objectives.
- Support evolving governance arrangements by ensuring compliance with best practice corporate governance standards .
About You
You are a detail-oriented, highly organised professional with strong governance, administrative, and communication skills. You thrive in complex environments and are experienced in working with senior executives and committees to ensure seamless operations.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in committee support, secretariate services, or governance administration .
- Strong meeting coordination and documentation skills , with experience managing high-level correspondence.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills , with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines .
- Experience in maintaining corporate records, minutes, and governance documentation .
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills , with the ability to draft reports, submissions, and stakeholder communications.
- Ability to work with senior executives, board members, and external stakeholders in a professional and confidential manner.
- Familiarity with corporate governance frameworks and best practices.
