Are you an experienced Trade Trainer with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) and a Trade Certificate in Fabrication, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrotechnology? About the Role
As a Trade Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the trade industry by:
• Delivering engaging, hands-on training sessions that draw from your industry expertise.
• Developing comprehensive training materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and assessments.
• Fostering a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment for all students.
• Collaborating with the Training Team Leader (Trade) to design and implement effective, results-driven programs.
• Providing mentorship and guidance to students as they start their trade careers.
You will work closely with a team of experienced trainers to deliver high-quality training and support to students through face-to-face delivery, ensuring exceptional educational outcomes.

What you’ll bring to the table
We employ Trainers who are actively engaged in industry practice whilst teaching, giving students insight into current industry processes and trends.
To be successful in this role, you will also need to demonstrate:
• Current qualifications in your vocational trade.
• Current industry skills directly relevant you trade vocation.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122) or higher-level qualification.
• Experience working in the Vocational Education and Training sector.
• Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Uphold a commitment to safety, professionalism, and inspiring students to excel through innovation and adaptability.
