Your New Role
As an Intervention Teacher, you'll provide targeted, individualised, and small-group instruction to students who require additional academic support, focusing on closing learning gaps and fostering a love of learning. You'll work collaboratively with classroom teachers and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies, ensuring every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Selection Criteria
An understanding of and commitment to the ideals of Catholic EducationExcellent communication and organisational skillsAn ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively to staff professional cultureAdaptable and flexible in work situationsDemonstrated excellence in providing learning support and interventionsAn ability to assist students with additional needs such as learning, medical or regulationAn ability to undertake specific tasks with small groups of children or individual learnersAn effective Intervention practitioner with a sound knowledge of the curriculum and contemporary pedagogyAn ability to analyse data to evaluate the effectiveness of intervention programs and adjust accordinglyAn ability to maintain accurate records of student progress and intervention outcomesAbility to work collaboratively within a positive, student focused teamCurrent First Aid certificate and anaphylaxis trainingCurrent NSW Working With Children
