The Opportunity
You will be the first Sales specialist for our business, meaning you have the keys to build a legacy. We are the exclusive distributors for three key products that are quickly consuming market share in NSW;
- Sunward Construction Equipment (Full Excavator Range + Track loaders and skid steers)
- Mecalac Dumper Range – A European built leader in this space
- REMU Screening Buckets and crushing equipment
Reporting to and working alongside the Director, you will be responsible for:
- Managing relationships in an existing network of customers within the territory
- Actively seeking out new sales opportunities (i.e. daily cold calling/prospecting for new business)
- General marketing, trade shows and related networking activities
- Accurate reporting of current and prospective activity, growth potential, market and competitor analysis
- Meeting market share expectations and other KPI's provided by Management
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Proven sales experience within the Construction/Earthmoving equipment industry or similar
- A motivated and competitive drive to not only meet but exceed sales targets
- Strategic and analytical capability to assess value, including proficiency in CRM
- Confident, courteous and professional communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and the ability to work autonomously
- A current driver's license
