Bring your strong data and digital skills in this permanent role as an Evidence Analyst, to assist ASIC's regulatory teams in reviewing and presenting evidence.

  • Sydney and Melbourne location preferred - other locations considered
  • $78,720 - $90,235 plus 15.4% Superannuation

The team

The Evidence Services team provides evidence collection, management and analysis services using various databases and litigation support tools to assist ASIC's regulatory teams to review and present evidence in courts and other bodies.

The role

As an Evidence Analyst you will be required to work closely with Evidence Services Consulting Analysts, to implement and report on progress of evidence review within ASIC's evidence management system.

You will be responsible for:

  • Following established procedures to support and administer assigned cases within the evidence management system.
  • Extracting, filtering, analysing and exporting evidence for ASIC using document management and litigation support tools.
  • Assisting with the preparation and compilation of criminal briefs, court books and other documents for use in court.
  • Providing advice and support to internal clients with evidence management inquiries.
  • Managing workflow systems in accordance with agreed service levels and key performance indicators.

About you

With your experience in eDiscovery, legal services, professional services or operational/data processing environments, you will have the technical expertise and skills to resolve complex enquiries and issues as they arise. Your experience includes effective stakeholder management skills and strong communication skills, with the ability to present information to varied audiences.

You will also demonstrate:

  • Relevant qualifications in information technology, computer science or data analytics.
  • Data and digital skills, including familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Outlook), relational databases (MS Access) and reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and in a high-volume processing environment.
