Your New Role
The Portfolio Manager's primary purpose is to Lead the Property Team in the Sydney office, set strategy for the Property portfolio in Asia Pacific and North America and oversee/manage the property investments in Asia Pacific and North America, to ensure the maximisation of returns within the parameters established in Aware Super's investment objectives and strategy.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related discipline
- 12+ years experience in a property-oriented investment role with a high direct investment or co-investment component
- Experience in M&A, public-to-private investments, private equity investments in property related companies and Joint Ventures.
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills and outstanding written and verbal communication/presentation delivery skills
- Outstanding Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
- Solid network of contacts locally and globally
