About the Company:
Our client is one of Australia's most successful property investment and development businesses. With a large portfolio of of various assets and overseas investments they are positioned to grow significantly well over the next few years
Due to growth in their current portfolio, they require a Finance Manager with property experience to join the business.
Reporting to the Head Of Finance, the primary focus is to manage all financials at an operational level for a mixed portfolio of properties.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounting Leadership: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including reconciliations, financial reporting, month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Property Fund Management: Monitor financial performance across the property portfolio and prepare detailed financial reports for stakeholders and investors.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop budgets and forecasts to ensure alignment with investment strategies and operational needs.
  • Compliance and Audit: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, coordinate audit processes, and manage financial controls to maintain transparency.
  • Tax Planning: Oversee tax compliance and planning, focusing on real estate-specific regulations and incentives.
  • Investment Analysis: Collaborate with the investment team to provide insights on property acquisitions, valuations, and financial feasibility.
  • Systems & Processes: Optimize financial systems and reporting frameworks to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA/CA certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting/finance, with a focus on property or real estate funds.
  • Proficiency in financial software and property management systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of real estate regulations and accounting standards.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience in MRI preferred
