Casual - Three Days A Week
Tuesday to Thursday 24 Hrs - 8.30am to 5pm
(Position could progress to more days with Part-Time or Permanent status)
Salary: Based on Experience Between $35 - $40 (Includes Casual Allowance)
Western Sydney Fabricator is looking for an Accounts & Payroll Assistant to be part of a small team to assist with a variety of accounting, payroll and administrative tasks and play an integral part in the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with accounts payable (AP) and bookkeeping
- Processing Fortnightly Payroll (MYOB) for 40 staff + Contractor Payments
- Data entry & and financial record-keeping
- Bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Maintain digital record-keeping & paper based filing systems
- Providing support with other general accounting and administrative tasks
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting & payroll
- Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word & Outlook
- MYOB accounting software essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Manage multiple competing priorities and meet deadline
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn & follow instruction
- Must be an Australian Resident or have the ‘right to work in Australia’
