The Role
As an Accounts Assistant , you will be responsible for:
- Accounts Payable & Receivable – Managing transactions and maintaining accurate records.
- Payroll Support – Assisting in payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Superannuation Management – Helping process super contributions efficiently.
- Budget & Forecasting – Supporting cash flow forecasting and budget preparation.
- Financial Reporting – Assisting in the preparation of fortnightly and monthly reports.
- Month-End Procedures – Helping with closing procedures and reconciliations.
- Reconciliations – Conducting bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Emails & Correspondence – Managing internal and external communication professionally.
- Proposal & Fee Preparation – Assisting in preparing proposals and estimates.
- General Admin & Compliance – Maintaining ISO and company safety standards.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in Finance or Administration – Previous experience in accounts or administrative support.
- Strong Attention to Detail – Ability to maintain high accuracy in financial records.
- Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Excellent Time Management – Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task effectively.
- Strong Communication Skills – Ability to collaborate with internal teams and clients.
- Strong Organizational Skills – Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Technical Proficiency – Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel & Word and strong MYOB proficiency .
