Construction Manager (Remedial Building / Asset Remediation)

Our client is a well established Remedial Building Company that has been specialising in Concrete Repair and Remedial Building works.
The Role
Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a Construction Manager with experience in Remedial Building works to join their Sydney team. You will have a minimum of 6+ years experience as a Construction Manager working for one of Sydney's well known Remedial Building Companies. Remedial Building Project Managers seeking their next step into a Management role will also be considered.
Reporting directly into the General Manager and Director the successful applicant will have the energy and drive to achieve business growth and enhance profitability from an operational delivery point of view. This is a "hands on" role which requires the ability to rise to the challenge and operate in a demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage operations including financial and reporting aspects.
• Provide outstanding customer service and utilise your communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.
• Maximise business potential.
• Mentor and coach staff by sharing your Remedial Building knowledge
• Provide leadership and guidance to project managers, and estimators to achieve budgets.

What are we looking for?

• 12+ years recent experience working in Remedial Building works
• Minimum 6+ years recent experience holding a position as a Construction Manager or Operations Manager in Remedial Building works or a Senior Project Manager in Remedial Building works
• Thorough understanding of all scopes relevant to Remedial Building works - Water Ingress, Concrete Repair, Concrete Spalling / Concrete Cancer, Waterproofing etc.
• Bachelors Degree in Construction Project Management or Structural Engineering or similar relevant qualification
• Strong organisational skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• High attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to work to multiple deadlines
• Full Australian working rights - No VISA sponsorship available
