Description:
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing client relationships, providing expert tax and accounting advice, and supporting the growth of our firm. This position offers exposure to a broad range of industries and the opportunity to work closely with business owners and professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and BAS for various entities, including companies, trusts, and partnerships.
- Providing tax planning and business advisory services to clients.
- Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor.
- Supervising and mentoring junior accountants.
- Assisting with compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and business growth.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA/CPA qualification (or working towards completion).
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in public practice accounting.
- Strong technical knowledge of tax and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Experience with accounting software Xero and MYOB.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
