Commercial Analyst Opportunity – Join Our Team at Pembroke Resources Pembroke Resources is an Australian company that owns the Olive Downs Complex, a large-scale world-class steelmaking coal mine located in the Bowen Basin of Queensland. Over $1 billion has been invested in the Complex and operations commenced in June 2023.The Olive Downs Complex has been built to be a mine of the future, with fully autonomous haulage and drilling implemented from day one, enabling an efficient ramp up to the Stage 1 production level of 6 million tonnes per annum. It is also setting new standards in embedded ESG practices.
It is an exciting time to join Pembroke, having commenced coal production in early 2024.
About the Role The commercial analyst role will report to the Finance Manager, whilst working closely with Operational and Technical teams to provide financial insights and analysis to support operational decision-making and strategic planning. The successful candidate will help support verifiable reporting and data based business decisions to improve overall business performance.

Professional Skills/Qualifications Ability to leverage existing resources and improve both the quality and impact of reporting Degree qualified in Commerce, Finance, Business, or related field; a postgraduate qualification (e.g. CA, CPA, CFA, MB) would be well regarded. Minimum of 5 years' work experience in a mining and resources, consultancy company or a related field is preferred.
