The Role:
As Housekeeping Supervisor you will assist in leading and coordinating our housekeeping and public areas team ensuring quality service and standards are maintained to deliver an exceptional and memorable guest experience. Also maintaining exceptional hygiene and service standards while fostering a positive and motivated team environment. There is a lot to be done and we aren’t where we want to be yet, so not a role for the faint hearted. It is a role that could be tailored to suit Mums getting back into the workforce, parents with school commitments as well as International students currently studying with great hospitality experience.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to!):
- Assist in managing housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet brand standards and cleanliness expectations.
- This is an apartment style complex not hotel style.
- Display strong leadership skills to enhance our service culture and uphold our commitment to hospitality, ensuring safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards are rigorously followed.
- Promptly and professionally address guest feedback, ensuring any housekeeping concerns are resolved efficiently.
- Develop and train staff on housekeeping standard operating procedures, ensuring they understand cleaning protocols, room presentation standards, and safe working practices.
- Motivate and collaborate with your team to achieve outstanding results while cultivating a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Lead by example, working closely with department heads.
- Turn challenges into opportunities, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
Now, who are we looking for?
- 2-3 years experience in a leadership role within Housekeeping Domestically or Internationally preferably in a 4-5 star environment.
- Strong understanding of cleanliness standards, hygiene regulations, room presentation, our guests and our teams safety.
- Passion for training and developing motivated, high-performing teams.
