Angels on Duty is a NDIS-registered disability service provider assisting people with different types of disabilities across Queensland, ranging from Brisbane, Ipswich, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Somerset Region and the Lockyer Valley.

Our services include 24/7 personal care, assistance with daily living activities, supported accommodation, community access and participation, assistance through the person’s NDIS journey, and development of life skills.

Our goal is to support people with disabilities to build skills and increase their capacity so they can enjoy their lives and feel part of their community.

Due to our growing services, we are currently looking for an experienced Service Coordinator to join our enthusiastic and fun team!

About the Role
We’re seeking a passionate and motivated Service Delivery Officer (SDO) to join our team full-time. In this multifaceted role, you’ll not only focus on building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders but also contribute to marketing initiatives that promote Angels on Duty and grow our client base. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating a team of Support Workers, ensuring effective rostering, and maintaining compliance with NDIS standards.

The Service Delivery Officer position coordinates and officiates service delivery for Angels on Duty NDIS clients and is responsible for:

  • Undertaking service intake, needs assessment, risk assessment, planning, budgeting, and review activities for all Angels on Duty clients.
  • Coordinating the holistic delivery of services to clients by the Angels on Duty team, ensuring services are timely, appropriate, and match the client's needs.
  • Developing and maintaining a positive rapport with clients to understand their unique needs.
  • Providing supportive and positive leadership that reflects Angels on Duty’s values at all times.
  • Working collaboratively and proactively to prevent incidents or any form of harm, abuse, or neglect to Angels on Duty clients.
  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality care leading to positive outcomes for clients, inclusive of relationship-building, life transitions, and NDIS-related support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with clients to create and manage service agreements aligned with their NDIS goals.
  • Conduct meet-and-greets to match clients with the right support workers.
  • Represent Angels on Duty at expos, networking events, and promotional activities.
  • Support the creation of marketing materials and digital content to engage with our community.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate client records and meeting deadlines.
  • Work closely with recruitment to find suitable Support Workers for client rosters.
  • Coordinate and manage a team of Support Workers, ensuring efficient rostering and shift coverage.
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS guidelines and internal policies.

About You
You’re an enthusiastic communicator who thrives on building meaningful relationships and empowering individuals with disabilities. You also have a creative flair for marketing and are excited about driving awareness and growth.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Certificate IV in Mental Health, Disability, Community Services, or Allied Health (desirable).
  • Knowledge of the NDIS (or willingness to learn).
  • 1-2 years in a similar role (preferred but not essential).
  • Proficiency with Shift Care and Microsoft or similar tools (desirable).
  • Open driver’s license and valid working rights in Australia.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and a clear Police record (or willingness to obtain).
