Come and join the Long-Term Recovery and Resilience team (LTRR) within Community Recovery in this rewarding position as AO8 Manager Service Delivery and Engagement. You will play a critical role in leading the design, commissioning, procurement, and grant and contract management lifecycle of programs that support the effective delivery of services as part of supporting the recovery of disaster impacted communities in Queensland. This position will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and evaluate service provision in a high paced and dynamic environment, support innovative approaches to ensuring delivery of value for money and positive outcomes for communities impacted by natural disasters. This position is part of the Long-Term Recovery and Resilience and Community Recovery leadership teams, contributing to strategic direction and business planning.Community Recovery is the lead agency for the provision of human and social recovery support to Queenslanders impacted by disasters including the provision of personal financial support and emotional support and recovery activities.
The Long-Term Recovery and Resilience team (LTRR) is responsible for the management of long-term recovery and resilience programs to support communities affected by disaster events.

The successful candidate will require comprehensive knowledge of commissioning, procurement, contract and grant management as well as financial principles. Familiarity with Queensland Government policies, legislation, frameworks, and disaster management funding arrangements is highly desirable. You will need to have demonstrated experience managing and mentoring teams to achieve positive outcomes, leading with focus and optimism in an environment of complexity and ambiguity. You will need to have well-developed stakeholder engagement skills with demonstrated interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills. Your critical analysis and problemsolving skills will see you succeed in this role.
