The Outside Group Recruitment are seeking an experienced aged care professional for the newly created role of Queensland Operations and Quality Advisor. Working in liaison with the Quality and Operations Managers, you will contribute to the successful management of clinical risk and regulatory compliance for our client's group of Aged Care Homes, assisting them in achieving their mission, values and strategic objectives. As the Queensland Operations and Quality Advisor, you will play a crucial role in continuing the success of the 7 homes that form part of Castalia's Tingari Group of homes based in the state. The Tingari Group's philosophy is that ‘they care for residents who live in a home that is theirs, not ours’. They provide care to their residents in the same way that they would for their own family. This newly created role is a rare opportunity due to the high staff retention rate within Castalia's Tingari Group.
Key Accountabilities of the Role:
- Ensure that best practice care is provided to the Tingari Group standards.
- Deputise for senior managers (including Facility Managers) during periods of extended leave or recruitment, taking responsibility for the commercial performance of the home during this time.
- Lead and deliver improvement projects.
- Identify innovative uses of technology and leadership practices to improve resident quality of life and operational productivity.
- Develop and support high-performance and resident-focused teams aligned with the company's values.
- Drive continuous improvement activities to enhance care & service delivery, productivity, and business efficiencies.
- Identify opportunities/strategies for achieving occupancy targets.
Key Performance Measures:
- Compliance with Aged Care legislative & regulation requirements across all homes.
- Achievement of financial targets, including occupancy level and budgeted profitability when deputising for a Facility Manager.
- Projects are delivered according to the planned timeframe.
- Internal policies and procedures are written or reviewed during the planned timeframe.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Leadership and supervision skills in an Aged Care environment, with experience in a Facility Manager role.
- Extensive operational management experience, including human resources, budgeting, and clinical management.
- Proven ability to implement the legislation, regulations and requirements affecting aged care, including highly developed report writing skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate a multi-disciplinary team for quality care outcomes.
- Flexibility to travel.
Qualifications:
- APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, or Management.
