About The Role
We are seeking a Senior to Associate level Environmental Consultant with 5+ years’ experience to join our growing team and to help deliver a growing and varied pipeline of exciting projects.
Across Australia, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our experienced and multi-disciplinary Assessments & Approvals teams at all levels of the company, with opportunities to enhance your professional network with our national team and clients and contribute to some of the most exciting project approvals in the country.
You will manage and deliver assessment and approvals projects for our clients, including the preparation of proposals, referral and approval documentation, internal reviews, schedule and budget management and subcontractor and client liaison.
Tasks And Responsibilities
• The delivery of high-quality approval applications and technical reports to support environmental and planning approval requirements.
• Prepare proposals, referral and approval documentation.
• Schedule, budget and project management.
• Liaison with subcontractors and clients.
• Work closely with State and Commonwealth regulatory agencies.
About You
• A degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience (5+ years) of environmental assessment and approvals work in Queensland with strong working knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and guidance.
• Environmental compliance and management experience in construction and/or operational settings would be highly regarded.
• Proven ability to manage clients, projects and teams, ensuring that projects can be delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Desire to build networks with some business development experience.
• Experience of projects involving process industries and air quality, dust, odour and noise assessments will be highly regarded.
