Public Sector People are recruiting for an experienced AO3 Revenue Officer on behalf of a State Government Department. You will be responsible for a range of accounts receivable duties, including data analysis, patient billing, liaising with insurers, and debt recovery. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. This is a temporary opportunity for 3 months + potential extension.Benefits Of The Role

Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyse patient data to identify chargeable services and maximise revenue collection.Accurately input, update, and retrieve data within various financial systems (AUSLAB, HBCIS, S/4HANA).Liaise with patients, insurers, WorkCover, and other agencies to resolve billing issues and ensure timely payment.Manage all aspects of accounts receivable, from data quality to debt collection.Foster positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Provide training to new team members.Adhere to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in all duties.

Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation and billing procedures.Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using various computer software applications, including financial systems, databases, and spreadsheets.Experience working within a Health, Pathology or Medicare billing environment is highly desirable.
