Customs Broker Opportunity due to company growth!
Our client is a long-standing, privately owned, mid-tier international freight forwarder that has experienced impressive growth over the past few years. Due to growth, they are seeking an additional Customs Broker to join their small customs team. Ideally, the successful candidate will be career-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to developing their skills while collaborating effectively within a stable team environment.
Day to Day Functions
- Customs Clearance & Compliance Accurately classify and process customs entries, verify import documentation, and ensure shipments meet all regulatory requirements.
- Customer Support Act as a trusted advisor, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Collaboration & Growth Work closely with internal teams, enhance customer relationships, and develop your industry knowledge.
What Were Looking For
- Valid Australian Customs Broker License, this role would suit 1-3 years experience
- A lodging Broker who is looking for a change or upskilling their experience
- Open to Classifiers applying for their Licence - this company will support the transition and guarantee them a Broker role!
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and a team collaborator
