What you can expect in a day in this role:
Landscape is seeking a talented Junior Sous Chef to join our team for a 12-month parental leave contract. In this key role, you will work with the Head Chef to lead the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring a smooth workflow and taking full ownership of your section. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for grilling and the ability to thrive in a busy, high-end kitchen environment.
To the role you will bring:
- Previous experience in a premium dining environment or high-end venue
- Extensive experience cooking with an open flame grill
- At least 5 years of proven kitchen experience on the grill and other busy kitchen sections
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide, mentor and motivate junior kitchen staff
- A strong desire to provide exceptional service and exceed guest expectations
- Flexibility to work across various shifts and days, accommodating the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry
