Role Details
The Venue Operations Manager will coordinate, lead and guide the event delivery teams, external contractors, suppliers and venue staffing groups for the annual Supercars Grand Final event and provide comprehensive end to end support to the entire team and event. You will work closely with the Event Design and Infrastructure Manager and the Operations and Concerts Manager to ensure the safe and on-time delivery of the event and will be responsible for the negotiation, decision making and ongoing management of all operational procurements and contracts, including new event features and activations. You are also responsible for the management of the Venue Operations Plan and Budget, ensuring all financial targets are met and may provide operational assistance to other SAMSB events as required.
Special Conditions
- The Incumbent will be required to work extended hours leading into and during major events.
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
- This role requires a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History check.
