About the Program:
LMA has entered into an arrangement with BAE, Saab and CoA (MIWS) for the execution of all Combat System Integration work related to the Aegis Surface Combatant fleet.
The agreement, called the Combat Systems Integration – Integrated Project Team (CSI-IPT) Collaboration Agreement or CCA forms a collaborative enterprise organisation to execute scopes of work across Hobart Class Destroyer (SEA4000 Phase 6 and other related Destroyer Capability Enhancement (DCE) upgrades) and the Hunter Class Frigates (HCFs - SEA5000 Phase 1). The CSI-IPT evolves the current independently executing programs such as SEA4000 Phase 6 and SEA5000 Phase 1 under an umbrella enterprise organisation formed as a program of programs.
Your responsibilities will include:
Under general direction from the DDG CSI-IPT Configuration and Data Management (CDM) Lead, you will ensure CDM activities are undertaken in accordance with the CDM Plan. Your responsibilities include managing engineering baselines within the CM toolset, supporting Configuration Review Boards and audits, and overseeing data management processes.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage engineering change, ensuring the process is followed and providing secretarial duties for Configuration Review Boards.
- Support configuration reviews and audits.
- Maintain technical documentation records and provide Configuration Status Accounting Reports.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to maintain structured models, drawings, and parts within the CM tool.
- Ensure project documentation, including program plans, specifications, and contract modifications, meets requirements and deadlines.
- Manage CDRL, SDRL and GFx deliveries, ensuring compliance and resolving customer feedback.
- Ensure compliance with Export/Import (EXIM) regulations and sensitive information procedures.
- Contribute to audit events and other CDM-related activities as required.
About you:
To be successful in securing this position, you will have demonstrated skills and experience within the below areas:
- Strong experience in Configuration and Data Management for development projects.
- Proficiency with CM tools such as Windchill.
- Ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines and organizations.
- Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to support configuration and data management objectives.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to assist in drafting configuration plans, procedures, and documentation.
- An Australian NV-1 security clearance and ability to access/handle Export Controlled technology, data and information
Any of the below would be highly regarded, but not essential:
- Experience managing export-controlled and sensitive data.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other collaboration tools.
- Background in the Defence sector and familiarity with Commonwealth CMT-U.
