Unique and exciting opportunity: LEADERSHIP POSITION as a 2IC at Nest Kiosk, Kingston Park SA.
Looking for someone with leadership experience and great leadership and people skills to join and lead our team at our oceanfront kiosk - Nest Kiosk, Kingston Park (just past Seacliff Beach, SA).
ROLE: 2IC within our Leadership team
HOURS: 20-25 hours per week of rostered hours within the kiosk on the floor. There can be capacity for more hours, for the right candidate with the desired skills, and particularly during peak holiday periods and seasons, and during periods when other leadership staff are on leave.
ROLE TYPE: Given some variation of hours, causal rate and arrangement is considered best suited. However we are looking for someone to join us for the long term and we will be open to considering a permanent part-time arrangement if that is preferred.
Must have at least 2 years of leadership experience in a similar, busy hospitality venue.
You will work closely with our Manager, Directors, Head Chef and existing Team Leaders within the leadership team.
Duties include but are not limited to: running day-to-day procedures and operations of Nest, a strong customer service focus, open and close of store, front of house duties on the floor, ordering of stock and goods, store organisation, day-to-day maintenance of our kiosk, managing and training of staff, building positive relationships with customers, networking and building relationships with suppliers, maintaining high standards of operation, contributing and leading a positive workplace culture, participating in leadership discussions and contributing to decisions around improvement and creativity within the business. We are a new kiosk – nearly 1 year old and always looking to improve and grow, and support our team of staff to do the same.
Desired qualities: Speciality coffee knowledge/skills and interest.
In addition to weekday availability (we can be flexible with specific days), must have some regular availability on the weekends (ie either a Saturday or Sunday), and some capacity to work an evening shift (we run casual beachside dinners currently every Friday night 5pm to 9pm in March/April, and sporadic private events).
Ocean views whilst you work are guaranteed - we are right at the ocean and a very busy beachside kiosk!
