The Department for Environment and Water (DEW) is seeking Senior Scientific Officers – Marine to provide expert scientific advice and deliver strategic marine science initiatives that support South Australia's environmental, economic and social prosperity. Based in Adelaide, these roles will lead innovative projects and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to deliver priority projects and programs with a focus on marine biodiversity and restoration at the state and national level.

Contract:
This is a merit recruitment pool and successful applicants may be appointed to a role at anytime within a 12 month period
Essential Qualifications:
A tertiary qualification in environment, conservation or a related NRM discipline is required
Special Conditions:
- May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
- A current driver’s licence is essential, along with a willingness to undertake four-wheel-drive training.
- May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel and work outside of the normal hours of work.
Remuneration: PO3 - $101,285 min - $107,078 max p.a.
