The exciting opportunity:
- Choice of contract (minimum 3 months) or permanent
- Stand-alone 100 bed aged care facility
- Manage the organisational education program consisting of eLearning and face to face sessions
- Plan, coordinate and evaluate learning programs to broaden the scope of practice and support staff to deliver quality and safe care
- Deliver comprehensive education as part of staff orientation and provide ongoing formal and informal training
- Foster relationships with training providers, arranging for them to conduct external training programs
- Support Managers to identify the skills gaps and learning needs of staff, and create and implement an education plan to address them
- Evaluate, review and develop education materials, ensuring they are in line with legislation, resident needs and organisational purpose
- Rare opportunity for an experienced Nurse looking to share their knowledge in a Training Officer role
