About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Equipment and Calibration Lead to oversee the scheduling, repair, servicing, and overall maintenance of our equipment. This individual will ensure all equipment is calibrated in accordance with established procedures, while also improving operational efficiencies through team leadership, IT system management, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a background in equipment calibration, a strong technical aptitude, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in our processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all equipment is calibrated per established timelines and procedures to meet regulatory and operational standards.
- Oversee and coordinate the repair, servicing, and maintenance of equipment to ensure minimal downtime and operational efficiency.
- Request vendor quotes, manage purchasing processes, and coordinate services for calibration and equipment maintenance.
- Identify, implement, and manage a new IT system to streamline calibration scheduling processes, improving overall efficiency and tracking.
- Supervise and lead the equipment and calibration officers, maintaining high work standards, safety protocols, and productivity.
- Conduct thorough data analysis, preparing detailed reports on equipment performance, calibration schedules, and recommendations for system improvements.
- Effectively prioritize competing tasks and manage time to meet deadlines while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Work closely with stakeholders for equipment trials, troubleshooting, and improvements to optimize performance.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment with business needs.

You will bring:
- Proven experience in equipment calibration, maintenance, or a similar field (Preferred).
- Experience in managing IT systems, especially those focused on scheduling, asset management, or calibration tracking (Preferred).
- Strong IT skills, with the ability to manage and troubleshoot software systems.
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of equipment servicing and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to guide and develop a diverse team.
- Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities, including the ability to interpret and present complex data in a clear, actionable manner.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal teams and external partners effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a focus on accuracy and quality.
