DescriptionResponsibilities:
- Carry out assembly and assist when required on all AC-DC UPS power system production. The scope shall be within the applicant’s competency and experience
- Perform ongoing scheduled Recharge & Autonomy testing on all Rack mount UPS products
- Ensure that a level of competence is maintained as required by the applicant for a high level of technical aspects. To adequately work with minimum supervision, training is available for personal growth within the company.
- Take all steps necessary to ensure complete security and maintenance of the Company’s equipment, documentation and materials
- Reject non-conforming Rack mount UPS’s and other Vertiv products
- Product Packing/Unpacking duties
- Process sign-off for responsible activities in Rack mount UPS testing
- Returning of Stock to correct locations upon job completion
- Rack mount UPS Recharge scheduling – Stock in & Stock out
- Liaising with other relevant departments to ensure all procedures are followed
- Receipting purchase orders
- Closing Work orders on completion of jobs
- Perform Cross-check Verification process for all deliveries to LCC
- Kanban stock & re-ordering
- Overseeing of Stocktake of LCC equipment
- Fundamental processing & operations of ORACLE (Training will be provided)
- Understanding the process of moving equipment/components to & from the warehouse
- Attending meetings as required within the scope of works
- Operating a Forklift when required within LCC
Requirements:
Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Electrical Engineering & Forklift Licence
- Ability to work with new products, processes, tools and technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong commitment to OH&S in the workplace
- Ability to work independently or within a team environment
