About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in our General Medicine ward, you will provide high-quality nursing and/or midwifery services to a diverse patient cohort. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop, moving from a novice to a proficient level of professional practice. Your journey will be supported by continuous professional development and hands-on experience, allowing you to expand your knowledge and capabilities in a dynamic healthcare environment.

About You

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. To thrive in this role, you will need the following:

  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing Board of Australia, holding or eligible for a current practising certificate.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated competence in nursing practice and a commitment to providing consumer-centred care in a healthcare setting.
  • A solid understanding of relevant legislation, quality improvement systems, and the standards and codes that guide nursing practice.
